People often ask us why we chose the name Six Dots.
At first glance, it's a simple name. But for us, it means much more.
The six dots represent the six dots of Braille, and the inspiration comes from our daughter, who is blind.
One of the many things she has taught us is something that's surprisingly easy to forget. She doesn't rush through life. She takes the time to experience the world differently. She slows down, notices things many of us miss, and reminds us, without even trying, to be present.
Somewhere along the way, life became a race.
We're always thinking about tomorrow, the next meeting, the next project, the next thing on the list. It's easy to forget to simply enjoy where we are.
We hope Six Dots is a place where people can slow down for a while. Sit with friends and family. Enjoy a glass of wine. Watch the vines move in the breeze. Have a conversation that isn't rushed. And simply be present.
That vision won't happen overnight.
Like the vines we've planted, it will grow one season at a time. Every decision we make, every bottle we create, and every guest we welcome will help shape what Six Dots becomes.
The name is a reminder for us just as much as it is for anyone who visits.
Slow down.
Enjoy the moment.
The rest can wait.
Welcome to Six Dots.
